I've been a fan of her southwestern curves and colors since my return to the desert, and now I'm excited to go see Georgia O'Keeffe's St. George Paintings on display at the De Young.

Last year I was lucky enough to be taken in by three wondrous graces who put a roof over my head and helped heal my heart. They are brave, loving, and some of the most supportive people I know.

I have been knitting this scarf since the new year, have gotten to the end and turned around to begin it anew for fear of not having more yarn to keep my fingers busy. Three times later-and I am finally ready to complete it completely. The colors remind me of the sheep of Red Mesa- all but the black baa's.
